The Key To Authenticity

The Key To Authenticity

Kabelo brings his South African heritage into his music with his debut album, soon to be released: The Key To Authenticity.

In his own words: “The project is based on the idea that when individuals are honest and transparent about their thoughts, feelings, and actions, they can form deeper connections with others, build trust, stay true to their art and themselves, and develop more meaningful relationships. The album is inspired by the belief that authenticity is a key factor in fostering genuine human relationships.”

“Honesty is the key to Authenticity. It unlocks the door to true identity. With each step we take on our path, We must embrace truth in all its aftermath.Let go of the masks we wear daily and let our true selves have their say. By being true to ourselves, We'll shine brighter than any star.”

“No more hiding in shadows or fear, For honesty, brings freedom, dear. With Authenticity as our guide, We'll find peace and love inside. So let us strive for honesty and truth, for our souls will alight in these things. We'll be true to ourselves, and in that, We'll radiate with a brilliant light”

“Inspired by a saying from my teacher ‘Simplicity Breeds Complexity’, part of the album features a 3 work suite named after this concept”

The album features Dylan Holly- Bass, Cameron Campbell- Piano, Emmanuel Michael- Guitar (electric), Luke Bacani- vibraphone, Adam Lamoureux- Saxophone, Nicolaus Gelin- Trumpet, Stéphane Clément- Trumpet, Estes Cantarero-George- Trombone, and Ongama Mhlontlo- Vocals.
